AAA Cards Challenge 248 - Add a Tag or Ticket

 Good Morning/Evening,

It's time for a new challenge at AAA Cards, and this fortnight we want you to

Add a Tag or Ticket

to your CAS card, see challenge card further down.

Here's my take on the challenge

I started by doing a bit of ink blending through a stencil on a card panel. Then I cut out a tag from the panel, stamped with a word stamp using the same ink as I ink blended with. I placed the tag inside the hole on the panel and stamped some flowers using an embossing ink and sprinkled over some Distress Glaze in the same colour as the ink I used previously. I heat embossing the flowers and addhered the panel to a card. The tag got a string and some 3D foam on the back before being attached to the card.

AAA Cards Challenge 247 - Sketch for a teen card

Hello,

Ready for a new CAS card challenge?
I hope so as today is the start of a new challenge at AAA Cards,
and this fortnight the theme is a

Sketch for a teen card

Here's my take on the challenge

I hope you'll play along with us! You have until September 2nd to create, upload and link your card to the AAA Cards challenge blog. Please remember we want to see clean and simple cards (CAS cards), definition can be found on the challenge blog. ATC - Visible Image July swap "The Holiday Season"

 Hello Everyone,

Today I'm sharing my ATC and accompanying card for the July ATC swap at Visible Image. The theme for the swap was

The Holiday Season

"The holiday season" didn't have to be interpreted as the Christmas season, it could also be interpreted as the summer holiday season, or a mix of both.

Here's what I came up with

My swap partner for the month of July lives in Australia, and I'm sure Santa takes off his big boots and dips his toes in the water when visiting down. Spending time on the water (sailing) or by the sea is a must for me during our summer holidays. I love the sea, and have just come back from a few weeks of sailing.

ATC and accompanying card

I have used the following products to create these two cards;

Stamps by Visible Image; "Ride the Waves" and "Affirmations"
other products: Distress Oxide Inks, Distress Embossing Glaze by Tim Holtz/ Ranger
Embossing powder by WOW!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, I really appreciate it!

Take care, keep crafting and have fun!

AAA Cards Challenge 246 - Sketch + optional twist A Baby card

 Good Morning/Evening,

It's time for a new CAS Card challenge at AAA Cards,
and this fortnight we have a

sketch

for you, please see the challenge card further down.
There is an optional twist of a Baby card, but as said it's optional.

Here's my take on the challenge

I decided to skip the optional twist since I have no need for a baby card at the moment. I have some people close to me who are/will be making changes in their lives, which can be a bit scary, so I decided to create a card of encouragement instead. I stamped and heat embossed some cute little butterflies in a rainbow of colours. I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment "without change there would be no butterflies". A quick and easy, clean and simple, CAS, card.

Product used
Stamp sets: "Antisocial Butterfly" by Visible Image, "Sittande Larv" by hÄnglar & Wings
Inks: VesaFine CLAIR "Charming Pink", "Summertime", "Cheerful", "Blue Belle", "Purple Delight" and "Nocturne"
Embossing powder: "Clear Gloss Super Fine" by WOW!

AAA Birthday Game #52 - Anything Birthday Goes

Hello Crafty Friends,

It's the 1st of August and time for a new fun challenge at AAA Birthday,
and the theme of the month is

Anything Birthday Goes

and here's my take

Ohh, this theme was a bit tricky. I had a hundred ideas, but didn't know which one to go with. In the end I thought why not go with something I love, I love peonies and I love clean and simple cards, CAS cards, and all of a sudden it was easy. I stamped and heat embossed this beautiful peony on a card panel. To colour the flower I have used Lunar Paste that I diluted with water to create a shiny watercolour. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, and mounted the panel on a piece of black cardstock before adhering it to the card front. The shine on the flower looks really pretty in real life.

Products used
Stamps: "Unfurling Petals #273" by Olga Heldwein/ Aall & Create, "FikaErika" by hÄnglar & Wings
Ink: VersaFine CLAIR " Nocturne" by Tsukineko

Colour: Lunar Paste "bee sting" and "fake plant" by Simon Hurley/ Ranger

Embossing Powder: Clear Gloss Super Fine by WOW!
