Since I knew I wanted to create a unicorn card, I started by stamping, die cutting and colouring the unicorn for my card. Now for the card itself; instead of decorating the front of the card I decided to make a see through card and decorate the inside. I die cut the front of my card base using a cloud border die, leaving an opening in the front panel of the card. To add an extra layer of clouds to the front I die cut a panel using the same border die and added it to the card base. The unicorn was adhered to the card front, making it hold the top and the lower part of front together. I also stamped a birthday greeting on the front of the card; the top one to cover up a mark I accidentally made on the card đł

As I didn't want the backside of the coloured unicorn to show through from the inside of the card, I die cut out an extra unicorn from white cardstock and added it from the inside of the card to the back of the unicorn.
Using a cloud stencil, I blended a sky onto the inside of the card, a sky that is also a part of the front of the card as it is see through. I added a die cut greeting "Grattis" (congratulations in Swedish), and wrote a message, which I blocked out in the photo below.
