AAA Colourful - colourboard #26

 Hello,

It's time for the 26th colourbord of AAA Colourful colour themed challenges, and the colours for the month are shades of -

Blue, Beige and White

and here's my take on the colourboard

I am so curious to see how you are inspired by the colours of the board, please see below. Use the colours how you see them and in any way you want. You may add neutral like black, white, greys, browns and skin tones, and you can create any kind of paper craft project you feel like; art journal pages, scrapbooking spreads, ATCs, cards, tags..... and in any style too.

I hope you are inspired to play along with us. You have until the 14th of April to create, upload and link your paper craft creation to the AAA Colourful challenge blog, a blog filled with amazing inspiration by the Design Team and our special guest designer for the month, Trina P
(I love Trina's creation, it is absolutely stunning!).

If you want to know how I created my card and what products I have used please keep reading.

Like last month I had an idea of what I was going to create, but the end result is nothing like what I had envisioned. I wasn't going to make a card and I was not going to include bunnies but here they are two cute little bunnies on a card.

I started by die cutting a white bunny, and coloured his nose, the hearts in his ears and the bow tie. Then I thought he needs a friend, so I cut out another little cutie but this time in kraft paper (which is a bit of a beige colour I think). I coloured the nose and hearts with a beige marker, and the bow using the same blue as I did on the other bunny. I found a scrap piece of beige paper in my stash, which has a spring feel to it and goes well with the colours of the bunnies. I added a navy blue border to the patterned paper and wrapped a piece of string around the papers. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on a small banner I had die cut from the same navy paper I used for the border. The banner was glued on top of the string. I added the bunnies using foam tape, and then addhered the panel, also using foam tape, to a card base. I felt something was missing, so I gave the girl bunny a pearl neckless.

Products used
Dies:
"Everyday Sentiment Banners" by Lawn Fawn, Bunny die set from my stash, do not know the brand (lost the packaging)-
Markers: Copic B24 and E53
Papers: Neenah Solar White, scrap from Simple Stories, and navy and black cardstock scraps from my stash
Embellishments: String, half pearls
Embossing powder: WOW! Opaque Bright White Super Fine

Take care, keep crafting and stay colourful!

Gorgeous Gift Tags IG Hop - March 2026

Hello,
It's time for the March Gorgeous Gift Tags Instagram Hop, and the optional theme for the month is -

Easter

I have created a very simple and easy tag using a stamp and some dies. I started by randomly stamping feathers in a variaty of colours on a sheet of white cardstock. Then I got my tag dies out and cut out a few tags in different sizes. I added a die cut sentiment in black, and black border to make the colours of the feathers pop. Some coloured ribbons where added and my tag was done. The greeting on the tag says "Glad Påsk" which is Swedish for "Happy Easter".

I hope you like my tag, and maybe even get inspired to create some tags of your own.
The Gorgeous Gift Tags Instagram Hop is full of fun, beautiful and inspiring tags created by the participants of the hop, so why not head on over to Instagram and hop along with us.

Happy Hopping

Slim ATCs - hÄnglar & Wings

 Happy Easter!

In between egg hunting, good food and enjoying time with family, I've created three slim ATCs inspired by the current challenge hosted by hÄnglar&Wings on the theme

Easter/ Spring

For more information please see the challenge card further down. Now for my three ATCs

There has been a lot of masking and stamping taking place when creating these cards, and I have had so much fun. This format/size is really fun to work with, even more fun then the "normal" ATC size. I have used the adorable stamp sets "Påskhare" and "Hönsgården" by hÄnglar&Wing for these three cards. I hope you like them!

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate it!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter

 Happy Easter Everyone,

I hope you're all having a lovely Easter weekend!
Here in the south of Sweden we are enjoying beautiful spring weather, sunny and warm during the day but still cold at night.

Today I'm sharing a card I made last week but forgot to show, but that's okey as today is a perfect day to share it as it's an Easter card.

I've had this beautiful set "Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies" by Spellbinders since before Christmas but haven't used it, until last week that is. I don't know why it's taken me so long to play with it, it's so beautiful and versatile.
I die cut the flowers and leaves out of white cardstock, and coloured the pieces using Distress inks. I assembled the individual flowers, and started playing around with the flowers and leaves until I was happy with the composition. I die cut the beautiful background "Quilted Backdrop" by Lawn Fawn and adhered it to a yellow piece of cardstock before attaching it to the card base. Then I adherded the flowers and my heat embossed and fussy cut greeting to the background.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate you taking the time!

Take care, keep crafting, have fun and have a

HAPPY EASTER!

AAA Card Challenge 237 - Shaped card + optional twist Easter

 Hello,

It's challenge time (again 😁),
today it's a new CAS card challenge over at AAA Cards
and the theme for this coming fortnight is

Shaped Card with the optional twist of Easter

Here's my take on the theme

As you can see I've opted to go with the twist, but you don't have to. Your card can be for any occasion, it doesn't have to be an Easter card as long as it's CAS and any shape but rectangular or square we're happy.

For more information and fun inspiration by the amazing design team please visit AAA Cards challenge blog

I hope you'll join us! You have until the 15th of April to create, upload and link you creations to the challenge blog. Please remember all cards entered have to be CAS!

AAA Cards definition of CAS

If you want to know how I created my card and what products I've used please contingue reading.

I started by die cutting my card base out of a piece of folded white cardstock. I placed the die just of the egde of the fold to create a sidefolded card. I then cut another egg out of a singel piece of cardstock, to use as the front to cover up the fold/ missing piece of the egg. I stamped and masked a hen and some Easter eggs on the card/ egg panel, and coloured my images using Copic markers. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment, cut it out using a banner die and adhered it to the card/ egg panel. I adhered the panel to my egg shaped card base and the card was done.

Products used
Die sets: "Outside In Easter Egg Stackables" and "Everyday Sentiment Banners" both by lawn Fawn
Stamp sets: "Hönsgården" by hÄnglar & Wings
Markers: Copic

I hope you've been inspired to play along with this fun challenge!
Can't wait to see what shape you choose.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate you taking the time!

Take care, keep crafting and have fun!

I have used all Lawn Fawn products, the "Easter Before 'n Afters" stamp and die set, the "Easter Party" stamp and die set, the "Outside In Easter Egg Stackables# die set and the "Everyday Sentiment Banners" die set. The images are coloured with Copic markers, and the sentiments I've written by hand using a Sakura "Bright White Gelly Roll" pen.

Wishing you a very happy.....

 Hello, and happy weekend!

Time is flying by at the moment and Easter is approaching fast,
so I thought I'd better get cracking on those Easter cards.

I ended up making a CAS card, my favourite, with three little die cut rabbits wishing you a very happy Easter. The word "Easter" is stamped on the inside of the card. For the "fluffy" tails i have used nuvo Crystal Drops.
