Slim ATC

 Hello,

During the month of May hÄnglar&Wings hosted a challenge where you had to create slim ATCs using hÄnglar&Wings products. There was a new theme every day, and even though May was a superbusy month for me (getting everything ready for my youngest son's senior prom and graduation) I managed to squeeze in time to create these little cards.
Then I forgot to post them.... luckily the last day to enter the challenge is today, so I made it!

Here's my full set of 31 cards

and here's some close-ups of all the cards,
as you'll see I've had to think a little outside of the box for some of my cards

for No 12 Transportation - I have used a stamp with a skateboard which some may argue is not a mean of transportation, but I beg to differ. My youngest often uses his skateboard/longboard as transportation.

No 16 Vacation - my choice of stamp might seem strange to some, but we go sailing on our vacations, and when you are on a boat you have to have a lifebuoy.

No 23 Song title - It's the most wonderful time of the year. Yes, I think summer, and midsummer, is the most wonderful time of the year.
No 24 - Home is where the heart is!

No 31 Goal - When you graduate you've reached a goal, but you are also heading for new goals.

That's all of my 31 slim ATC cards for the hÄnglar & Wings May challenge. If there are any cards that I haven't commented on and that you find is unclear, please don't hesitat to ask in the comments.

Have a wonderful summer/winter!

Jane

ATC - Visible Image June swap "Rainbow Joy"

Hello Crafty friends,

Today I'm sharing the ATC I created for the Visible Image June swap on the theme

Rainbow Joy

This month my swap partner, Jane, lives in the UK, and my ATC has arrived safely at her house. As I enjoy making cards I always create a card to go with my ATC, but this is not mandatory just something I enjoy doing.

All stamps and stencils (and dies) used must be by Visible Image, and here I have used the joyful stamp set "Tomorrow doesn't exist" teamed with the gorgeous "Breakout" stencil. I ink blended through the stencil using Distress Oxide inks in a rainbow of colours. For the sentiment on the ATC I have used two stamp sets to spell out my sentiment, "Brighten the World" and "affirmations". The sentiment on the card is from the stamp set "Brighten the World".

This is such a fun and creative way of meeting new crafty friends from all over the world, and so far I have met people from the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Canada. I'm so glad I found Visible Image's group on Facebook and this inspiring swap. My hat goes of to Jane T, who's running and organising the swap every month. Thank you, Jane!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, I really appreciate it!

Take care, keep crafting and have fun!

AAA birthday Game #50 - Water Colours

Hi,

It's the first of June, and time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday.
The theme of the month is

"Water Colours"

I found this challenge to be a bit tricky at first, should I use watercolours or should I use water colours/the colours of water, or should I paint water? I thought long and hard and decided to go with all three. So I used watercolours in the colours of water (and sand) and painted a water/sea scene. My very first watercolour "painting"! I cheated a little when it came to the sailboat and the birds, and stamped those. I also stamped the sentiment, that reads "One year older and one year better".

Products used
Papers:
Watercolour paper (from my stash), "Blue Jay" cardstock by Lawn Fawn
Watercolours: "Distress Watercolor Pencils: set 2" by Tim Holtz/ Ranger
Stamp sets: "Födelsedag" by hÄnglar & Wings, "Ride the Waves" by Visible Image

I haven't played with watercolours since a was a little girl, but I had so much fun making this card. I hope you've been inspired to play along with us. I highly recommend a visit to AAA Birthday challenge blog, which is filled with fun and beautiful birthday cards by the design team and our special guest designer for the month of June, Ana. So head on over and check out their amazing work, and don't forget to give them some love. You can also find all the information on the challenge and how to play along on the blog. Can't wait to see your water colour birthday card creations!

Take care, keep crafting and have fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate you taking the time!
