Peekaboo!

 Hello and happy weekend,

Today I'm sharing my entry to challenge 3 in the Spring CC
at Pyssloteket. This challenge was a colour combo and picture challenge, see picture below

This is how my take on the inspiration picture turned out

I know, now you're thinking
 'that's not a bird, it's not even a flying creature, it's a giraffe',
and you're wright..... I am well aware that giraffes don't fly,
but they do hover among the treetops, just like the birds do 😉

Mixed Media

 Hello,
Sharing another entry to the Spring CC at Pyssloteket.
This one really took me out of my comfort zone.

Challenge No 4 - Mixed Media.

For this one there were a few items that had to be included on the project, extras free of choice were allowed to be added;

*Collage paper or patterned paper
*Acrylic or other paint
*Tissue paper
*A tag
*Something stamped
*Wordstickers
* Use a stampler

I started of by die cutting a tag using one of the dies from the Tag Collection by Sizzix Framelits. As my tag was to light I died it using some ground coffee mixed with water. Then it was time for all the items on the list. I don't have any collage paper so I stamped and embossed the butterfly on some patterned paper by Craft Consortium. I also made my own patterned paper for the card base using a stencil and some Distress Oxides, both by Tim Holtz. Insted of acrylic paint I used alcohol inks mixed with modeling paste, together with a stencil. I've also used a little Distress Oxide on the tag. Tissue paper, tag, wordsticker and use a stapler, all check. When it came to "something stamped" I used several stamp sets;

- VI MINIs #1, Visible Image stamps
- Storyteller, Studio Calico
- Little Things, Pink fresh studio
- Sheet music, Kaiserkraft
- CLBP 11, CREAlies
- stamp set by Big Picture that I don't know the name of.

This was my first attempt at mixed media, and I must say I thouroughly enjoyed it!

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate you taking the time!

Take care, stay safe and keep crafting!

Spring Cyber Crop

 Hello,
Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Spring Cyber Crop
hosted by Pyssloteket during Easter and the week after.

I didn't have time to enter all the challenges,
but I managed to tackle a few. My first entry was for
a challenge where you had to use a colourful, a patterned
and a solid coloured paper (card base not included).

Here's how my card turned out

The colourful paper I created myself using a gorgeous stencil by CraftEmotions and some Distress Oxides by Tim Holtz. The striped paper, my papperned paper, is by MFT. For my solid colour I chose black cardstock and used it as a mat for my colourful paper and to stamp and emboss my sentiment on. The adorable Hippie stamp is by Stamping Bella, and I've coloured her with Copic markers.

I'm a nurse...

what's your superpower?

I love this cute little Oddball Nurse by Stampingbella. Stampingbella is a new aqcuaintance for me, but I've fallen in love with all their cute images and characters, and being a nurse I just had to have this adorable nurse.

April Showers.....

 Hello,
I hope you're having a wonderful Saturday, with beautiful weather!

Over the last few days we've been having what we call "AprilvĂ€der" here in Sweden. Sun one minute then rain - sun - snow - hail - and then sun again, sometimes all within the hour. It makes it impossible to dress in the morning as you have to be prepared for every kind of weather and temperature, but it gave me the inspiration for this card so I shouldn't complain.

I started of by ink blending the umbrellas using the cute umbrella stencil by Create with a Smile. I then stamped the sentiment, from the stamp set "Keep Growing" by Feed your Craft, and the little raindrops, from "Rain or Shine Before 'n Afters" stamp set by Lawn Fawn.

 Hello, and happy weekend!

Time is flying by at the moment and Easter is approaching fast,
so I thought I'd better get cracking on those Easter cards.

I ended up making a CAS card, my favourite, with three little die cut rabbits wishing you a very happy Easter. The word "Easter" is stamped on the inside of the card. For the "fluffy" tails i have used nuvo Crystal Drops.

Gratulerar

Hello!

Today I'm sharing a CAS card,
inspired by the current challenge #461 - Pink & Gold at Less is More.

The gorgous flower by Visible Image is embossed with gold embossing powder by Ranger, so is the text by hÄnglar & Wings. I have watercoloured the flower using Distress Oxide by Tim Holtz, this is really going out of my comfort zone. I usually fail completely when I try to watercolour anything, but today it turnd out pretty good I think.

CAS Birthday card

You can never have too many Birthday cards,
and with horse crazy friends and family it's good to have one that's horse themed.

The cute horse, and the sentiment, are by CraftEmotions. I've stamped directly on the card base then coloured the image using Copic markers. A quick and easy little CAS card.
