AAA Cards challenge Game #216 - Colour Scheme + Shaker card

It's time for a new challenge over at AAA Cards challenge blog,
and it's my first challenge as a Design Team member,
I'm so excited!

Challenge Game #216 is a colour scheme challenge
with the optional twist of shaker card.

Here's my take on the challenge

As you can see I decided to go with the twist and made a shaker card. You don't have to go with the twist if you don't want to, it's just an option, but the colour scheme is mandatory for this challenge.

 Hello,

Today I'm sharing a card I made for my blog post at Pyssloteket.

The cute little Oddball hippie by StampingBella goes so well with the Flowers and Rings stencil by CraftEmotions I think. Combined with the fun sentiment from the stamp set "Ascoola Vänner" by hÄnglar & Wings you have a perfect card for an amazing/fantastic friend.

Guest blogging at Pyssloteket

Today I'm guest blogging at Pyssloteket !
 I'm feeling so honoured and happy to have been invited to blog amongst so many talented designers. If you are interested in reading my blog post you can find it here (a little warning: it's looong).

Here's one of the cards I'm sharing on the blog.

I've totally fallen in love with the summer release at Visible Image, and here I've used two of the gorgeous stamps from the stamp set "Daisy Grunge Stamp Set". The beautiful daisy is stamped with VersaMark watermark ink then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. The image is coloured using Copic markers. The sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, my go to ink pad.

I can highly recommend a visit to Pyssloteket's blog, where you can find so many tips and trix and inspiration by the the amazing Design Team. And while you are there, why not have a look around the shop aswell?, I can garantee you'll find something you "Villhöver" (want/need), and they ship all over the EU which I like.

AAA Cards Design Team

 Hi,

Today I've got some exciting new to share with you,

Bee Happy

Hello and Happy Sunday to you,

Today is a very special day, it's our wedding anniversary! 
33 years ago I said "I do" to the man of my dream, the best thing I have ever done, and I would do it again if I got to live my life over!

The year we got married spring was very cold and everything was late coming into bloom, but on the morning of our wedding day the sun was shining and the temperature soon rose to 20 degrees Celsius, and best of all our apple trees started to bloom waking up all the little bumble bees from their winter sleep.

Sharing a card I've made using the gorgeous stamp set, "Bee Happy" and the equally gorgeous stencil, "Honeycomb Hex", by Visible Image. I started of by ink blending, through the stencil, with Distress Oxides, "Squeezed Lemonade" and "Wild Honey". Then I stamped and heat embossed the big bee from the stamp set. I also stamped the sentiment, some hexagons and some splatters, before finishing of the card by putting some Glossy Accents on the wings of the bee.

I hope you like the card, and that you are, as I am, in a happy place in your life, doing the things that you enjoy.

Happy 18th Birthday

 Hi,
Yesterday was a big day at our house,
our "baby boy" turned 18!

Being the youngest of four he will always be the baby,
even though he is the tallest of us all.

Obviously I had to make him a card,
but making masculine cards is something I find difficult.
In the end I focused on some of the things he likes,
music, he is a drummer and music student, and basketball.

I don't have any basketball related stamps, dies or stencils so I went on the internet and found a page called Free Stencil Gallery, were you can find all sorts of stencils and download for absolutely nothing. So generous! I downloaded both the basketball and the music stencils, then I sized them to fit my design and cut them out on my Silhouette. Now I have two beautiful stencils to use over and over again. I used Distress Oxides to ink blend through my stencils. The number 18 I die cut using a number die set by CraftEmotions.

The card goes perfect with the current theme for
the AAA Birthday challenge - Let's Party!
Turning 18 definitly calls for a party!

AAA Birthday challenge Game #37 - Let's Party!

Hello, 
and welcome to the month of May!
It's not only the first Monday of the month,
which means time for a new challenge,
but also the birthday month of

AAA Birthday,

🎈 Happy 3rd Birthday, AAA Birthday! 🎈


so the theme for this month's challenge is - Let's Party!

and here's my take on the challenge

Who better to get a (adults only) party started than "Whitney and Wendy love wine", stamp set by Stamping Bella. The background is stenciled with some modeling paste to create a party atmosphere for these party girls. I've also added some transparent enamel dots. The image is coloured with Copic markers. The number 30 is die cut, and the sentiment "Let's celebrate" is stamped on the card, both the die set and the stamp set are by CraftEmotions.

Hello, 
Last night we celebrated Valborgsmässoafton here in Sweden,
when we burn the old to make room for the new. For most it's a celebration
that winter is over and spring is finally arriving to our part of the world.

As the bonfire was slowly burning out
the children had fun on the merry-go-round.
Magic what you can do with some ropes, logs and a big tree!
