Gorgeous Gift Tags IG Hop - May 2026

 Hello,

It's the 5th of May and time for the Gorgeous Gift Tags IG Hop, and the optional theme for the month ot May is - 

Lacy

As you can see I decided to go with the twist. I started by die cutting two tags out of white cardstock, then I painted the bottom half of both of them one in blue and one in pink. On the blue one I added a strip of lace at the top of the painted area. I die cut some flowers and leaves, assembled them and added them to the tag. While I was assebling the blue tag I started wondering what it would look like if I added lace on top of the whole painted area of the tag, and decided to do so on the pink tag. I finished the laced area with a ribbon of small flowers.The top half of the tag felt a bit bare so I run it through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder to give it a lace effect. I die cut and coloured some more flowers and leaves, and added them to the pink tag. Some ribbon where added to both the tags and I called them done.
