AAA Colourful - Colourboard #5

Hello and Happy Weekend,

It's the 15th of June, a very special day, it's not just my birthday (hooray), but also time for the fifth challenge over at AAA Colourful, and this month we have a beautiful colourboard for you to be inspired by

This time I've opted for a card, and more or less just copied the colourboard with it's lovely blue sky and the red balloon. It's such a gorgeous picture I just had to try to turn it into a card.

I started by ink blending my sky on a card panel, then I die cut, coloured and assembled the ballon before adhering it to the card panel. I die cut a banner and stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on it, and added that to the card panel. Then it was time to adhere the panel to a card base, but should I have a border around the panel or not? At first I wasn't going to, but in the end I decided to go with it. Here's how it turned out

Products used
Ink:
distress Oxide ink "Salty Ocean" and "Candied Apple", Distress ink "Festive Berries" and "Lumberjack Plaid" all by tim Holtz/ Ranger, VersaMark "watermark stamp pad" by Tsukineko
Dies: "Party Balloons", "Outside In Stitched Stackable Rectangles" and "Simple Wavy Banners" all by Lawn Fawn
Stamp set: "Dandy Day" by Lawn Fawn
Embossing powder: "Opaque Bright White Super Fine" by WOW!

Now it's your turn! Need more inspiration, and information? Ok, head on over to the AAA Colourful challenge blog, which is filled with beautiful, cute and colourful inspiration by the Design Team and our guest designer for the month, Tammy. Don't forget to visit their blogs/ social media, and show them some love.

You have until the 14th of July to create, upload and link your creation to the AAA Colourful challenge blog. And remember you can create what ever you want, cards, ATCs, Tags, scrapbook pages, journaling pages......... The colours on the colourboard should be the most prominent on your creation, but you may also use neutrals like black, white, greys, browns and skin tones. Hope to see you on the challenge blog!

Student 2024

 Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I'm sharing a card I created for our youngest son's girlfriend who graduated/ "tog studenten" on the 11th of June. She loves butterflies and the colour purple/lilac, which is also the colours of the educational program she attended, so the theme of the card was easy. This is what I came up with

I also incorporated a traditional "studentmössa" ( a Swedish graduation hat) to give the card that graduation feel. I hope you like it!

Here's a photo of our son and his girlfriend in her "studentmössa" taken at the graduation party. They are so cute together.

Have a lovely evening/ morning/ day!

Take care, keep crafting and have fun!
