AAA Colourful - Colourboard #4

 Hello Crafty Friends,

It's time for colourbord #4 at AAA Colourful, and we have a beautiful palette of colours for you to be inspired by

Isn't the colourboard beautiful? I love it, and I love the softness and the flow of the tulle in the picture. In an attempt to create that softness and flow I went with colourful circles on my card. I tried to get the colours as close to the image as I could, but as the circles overlap they changed a little in colour, but that's ok with me.

I started by creating my background of colourful circles, using a set of stencils with circles in different sizes and Distress Oxide inks. After ink blending my panel of circles I stamped and heat embossed the image and the sentiment. I gave the panel a black border and adhered it to the card base.

AAA Birthday Card challenges Game #61 - CAS

Hello Crafty Friends;

It's the 1st of May and time for a new challenge at AAA Birthday. The theme for the month, which was chosen by DT member Helen, is

CAS
(Clean And Simple)

This is one of my favourite styles of cards, and here is what I came up with for the challenge

I stamped the image and masked it before adding some ink to the background. I removed the mask and coloured the bear (isn't he just adorable?!) with my markers. I stamped the birthday greeting, and my card was done. A quick and easy one layer CAS card.

Products used
Stamp set:
"Bears" by C.C. Designs
Ink: Distress Oxide ink by Tim Holtz/ Ranger
Markers: Copic
Paper: Neenah Solar white

Now it's your turn! We would love to see your CAS birthday cards fill up the challenge blog at AAA Birthday. Not sure about the criterias for CAS cards? CAS stands for "clean and simple" so clean lines and lots of white/empty space on your card, and your there. Information on how to play along with us can be found on the challenge blog. The blog is also filled with beautiful and fun cards by the design team and Lynne our special guest designer for the month. So head on over to AAA Birthday's challenge blog for more inspiration and information. Hope to see you, and your CAS birthday card creations there!
