AAA Colourful - colourboard #26

 Hello,

It's time for the 26th colourbord of AAA Colourful colour themed challenges, and the colours for the month are shades of -

Blue, Beige and White

and here's my take on the colourboard

I am so curious to see how you are inspired by the colours of the board, please see below. Use the colours how you see them and in any way you want. You may add neutral like black, white, greys, browns and skin tones, and you can create any kind of paper craft project you feel like; art journal pages, scrapbooking spreads, ATCs, cards, tags..... and in any style too.

I hope you are inspired to play along with us. You have until the 14th of April to create, upload and link your paper craft creation to the AAA Colourful challenge blog, a blog filled with amazing inspiration by the Design Team and our special guest designer for the month, Trina P
(I love Trina's creation, it is absolutely stunning!).

If you want to know how I created my card and what products I have used please keep reading.

Like last month I had an idea of what I was going to create, but the end result is nothing like what I had envisioned. I wasn't going to make a card and I was not going to include bunnies but here they are two cute little bunnies on a card.

I started by die cutting a white bunny, and coloured his nose, the hearts in his ears and the bow tie. Then I thought he needs a friend, so I cut out another little cutie but this time in kraft paper (which is a bit of a beige colour I think). I coloured the nose and hearts with a beige marker, and the bow using the same blue as I did on the other bunny. I found a scrap piece of beige paper in my stash, which has a spring feel to it and goes well with the colours of the bunnies. I added a navy blue border to the patterned paper and wrapped a piece of string around the papers. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on a small banner I had die cut from the same navy paper I used for the border. The banner was glued on top of the string. I added the bunnies using foam tape, and then addhered the panel, also using foam tape, to a card base. I felt something was missing, so I gave the girl bunny a pearl neckless.

Gorgeous Gift Tags IG Hop - March 2026

Hello,
It's time for the March Gorgeous Gift Tags Instagram Hop, and the optional theme for the month is -

Easter

I have created a very simple and easy tag using a stamp and some dies. I started by randomly stamping feathers in a variaty of colours on a sheet of white cardstock. Then I got my tag dies out and cut out a few tags in different sizes. I added a die cut sentiment in black, and black border to make the colours of the feathers pop. Some coloured ribbons where added and my tag was done. The greeting on the tag says "Glad Påsk" which is Swedish for "Happy Easter".

I hope you like my tag, and maybe even get inspired to create some tags of your own.
The Gorgeous Gift Tags Instagram Hop is full of fun, beautiful and inspiring tags created by the participants of the hop, so why not head on over to Instagram and hop along with us.

Happy Hopping

AAA Birthday Card challenge #83

 Hello,

How are you today? Ready for a new Birthday card challenge? I hope so! A new challenge is up and running at AAA Birthday Card challenges, and we would love it if you joined in the fun! The theme for the month of March was chosen by our talented DT member Vicki, and the theme is -

Use Die Cuts

For my card I have used die cuts both to build the pattern on my card and for the birthday greeting. I started by die cutting the shapes to build the pattern for my card. I had some paper in different colours left since playing with my alcohol inks so I used that to die cut from. After cutting out all the pieces I mixed the colours up and pieced the shapes together and addhered them to a card panel. To make the panel pop from the card base I wanted to give it a border, but I had used up all my alcohol inked papers. I looked through my scraps and found a piece of paper, on which I had played with Distress sprays and stains, that matched the colours of my pattern pieces so I used thet for the border. The framed panel was addhered to a card base, and the die cut greeting added, and I called it done.
