Hello,
It's the first of December and time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday Cards. This month's fun theme was chosen by the talented DT member Deekshita, and the theme for the month is -
Box Card
My box card started with a beautiful dubble sided patterned paper from Maja Design, a Swedish company. Since both sides of the paper are beautiful and wintery, it was perfect for a winter themed birthday box card. After cutting my paper and folding it into a box, I cut out some snow covered hills for my critters to stand on. I stamped, coloured and die cut all the little critters, and added them to the scene. I also wanted a snowball flying through the sky so I attached it to a thin piece of clear acetate, close-up below. One of the mice was placed on a folded piece of cardstock as I wanted to place her in between the slopes/deviders to give the scene even more depth. I added a birthday greeting using stamps and stickers.
So this month we want to see birthday cards shaped like a box. There are several ways to create a box card and plenty of tutorials on YouTube, should you need it. You can also find amazing inspiration on the AAA Birthday Card challenge blog, the design team have been busy creating different kinds of box cards and so has our special guest designer for the month, Sigrid. Love her box card, it is fabulous!

I hope you are inspired to play along in this fun birthday card challenge as we can't wait to see you birthday box card on the blog! You have until December 31st to create, upload and link you card to the AAA Birthday Card challenge blog. Hope to see you there!
