It is time for colourboard challenge No 18 at AAA Colourful, and this month we have a beautiful mix of colours for you to be inspired by

Isn't it beautiful? I love the mix of pink, green, yellow, orange and white, such a lovely combination. Here is my take on the colourboard, hope you like it!

(sorry about the shadows on the tag, the fern kept blowing in the wind)

I hope you are inspired to play along with us in this fun and colourful challenge. You can create any kind of paper craft project, and in any style too; art journal pages, cards, tags, ATCs, scrapbook spreads ........ Only restriction is that the colours of the colourboard must be the most prominent colours on your creation. You may add neutrals like browns, black, white, greys and skin tones.

You have until the 14th of August to create, upload and link your colourful creation to the AAA colourful challenge blog, a blog filled with amazing and colourful inspiration by the design team and our special guest designer for the month, Wendy (her card is absolutely fabulous!). Hope to see your creation there too!

Gorgeous Gift Tags IG Hop - July 2025

 Hello,

Today we are hopping over at IG, it's the 3rd Gorgeous Gift Tag IG Hop and I have had so much fun creating tags and trying out new techniques, some more successful than others ;) This month we have the optional theme of -

Use a Stencil(s)

I have used two different stencils and two different stenciling techniques on this tag, I don't know if you can see both of the stencils. I started by placing a stencil with "labels" in a variety of sizes on my tag, I sprayed it with Distress spray stains. Unfortunatelly the spray stain got under my stencil in a few places, so I decided to sprits the whole tag with water and let the colours blend. I thought I would loose the "labels" altogether, but they do show through here and there on the tag. I liked how the colours blended but I wanted something more. I got out another stencil and started lifting the ink through it with a baby wipe. I must say I do like the effect. I acctually like it so much I didn't want to cover it up, so I left it as is and only stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on the tag. As I couldn't find a ribbon to match my tag I sprayed a piece of white ribbon with the same spray stains as I used on the tag. I also added a thin white ribbon and my tag was done.

AAA Birthday Card challenge #75

 Hello Crafty Friends,

It's a new month and time for a new challenge over at AAA Birthday card challenges. This month it is our very own queen of rainbows Kati who has chosen the theme, and the theme for the month is -

Summer Birthday

a fun theme, perfect for the month of July (at least if you live in the northern hemisphere). Here is my summer birthday card

My card is a summer take on the card I created for the "winter birthday" theme we had back in January this year. Here is a link to my winter birthday card.

I started by die cutting the white background panel for this card. I then stamped and heat embossed the panel using white embossing powder to get a subtle effect. It does show in real life but was difficult to catch on camera. Here is a close up, where you might see it a little bit better

The little girl was stamped and coloured before I fussy cut her out (not my favourite thing to do). I die cut the birthday greeting and placed the girl so that she sits on top of the sentiment. Now I had to decide on the backgound for the panel and the greeting. I tryed a variety of papers, plain and patterned, but in the end I decided to go with the green for a fresh Scandinavian look. The whole thing was addhered to a card base and my card was done. I hope you like it, and that you are inspired to join us in this fun summer challenge!

You have until the 31st of July to create, upload and link your Summer Birthday card to the AAA Birthday card challenge blog. The challenge blog is filled with fun, beautiful and mouth watering birthday cards by the design team and our special guest designer for the month, Pauline. I love Paulines card, it is beautiful and it really screams summer.

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
