You can create whatever paper craft project you like; ATCs, art journaling, scrapbooking spreads, project life pages, cards....... and in any style using any technique you feel like. I hope you are inspired to join us in this fun challenge!

You have untill the 14th of July to create, upload and link your colourful project to the AAA Colourful colour themed challenge blog. The challenge blog is filled with awesome colourful inspiration by the design team and our special guest designer for this challenge, Bobby (love her card, it is stunning!), so don't forget to check them out.

Now, you might be wondering how I was inspired and what I was inspired to create this month. Well here it is....

a vibrant and cheerful card. I actually made another card at first, but felt it was to "pale" for how the colourboard made me feel. Looking at the colours on the board makes me happy and cheerful so I wanted to create a bright, vibrant and cheerful card.

I started by ink blending on a card panel I had die cut a bit smaller than my card base. All the colours I can see on the colourboard where included. I then die cut the parts for the paintbrush and addhered them together. I inked the bristles of the brush to make it look as if it had just been used. I stamped a sentiment, "Let your vivid colours brighten the world", onto the inked panel, added the paintbrush and gave the panel a black border before gluing it to the card base. I hope you like it!

Products used
Inks:
Distress Oxides; "mustard seed", "twisted citron", "spiced marmalade", "picked raspberry", "salty ocean" and "wilted violet" by Tim Holtz/ Ranger, VersaFine "nocturne" by Tsukineko
Stencil: "paint splatter background" by Lawn Fawn
Dies: "Artful Tulip" by Vicky Papaioannou/ Spellbinders Paper Arts, "Small dotted rectangle stackables" by Lawn Fawn
Stamp set: "Brighten the World" by Visible Image

Now I can't wait to see how you are inspired by the colours of the board, and what you are inspired to create. Hope to see you on the challenge blog!

Take care, keep crafting and get colourful!

Gorgeous Gift Tags IG Hop - June 2025

 Hello,

It's the fifth of the month and time for the second Gorgeous Gift Tags Instagram Hop, and this time we have an optional theme of -

 FLOWERS

As you can see I decided to go with the theme, and created a tag with cute little flowers.
I started by die cutting my tag out of some kraft cardstock and embossed it using an embossing folder. The flowers and leaves were die cut and assembled. I also cut a banner, on which I stamped and heat embossed a birthday greeting. I added the flowers, leaves and the banner to my tag. As a finishing touch I added some ribbon.

Products used
Die sets: "Tag Collection Framelits" by Tim Holtz/ Sizzix, "Liten blomma D220490" by Gummiapan, "Little Blooms Etched Dies" by Spellbinders, "Simple Wavy Banners" by Lawn Fawn
Embossing floder: "3D folder BLE 1009" by Lene Embossing
Stamp set: "Mer Grattis" by hÄnglar & Wings

If you are interested in joining the hop head on over to instagram where you will find the details on how to join. On IG you will also find lots more inspirational tags created by the members of the Gorgeous Gift Tags hop.

Take care, keep crafting and have fun!

AAA Birthday Card challenge #74

Hello Friends,

It is the 1st of June, yay, and time for a new fun challenge over at AAA Birthday Card challenges. This months theme was chosen by Kateryna aka pioniya, and the theme for the month of June is -

No Stamping

and here is my take

Most of the time I use at least one stamp when creating a birthday card, if not for the image for a greeting on my card. Do you create cards without any stamping? The design team and our special guest designer for the month Wendy (love her card!) have filled the AAA Birthday card challenge blog with fabulous cards without any stamping for us to be inspired by. All the information on how to play along can also be found on the blog, so why not head on over to be inspired to create your very own No Stamping Birthday card?!

You have until June 30th to create, upload and link your Birthday card to the AAA Birthday card challenge blog. Hope you will join us.

Want to know how I created my card?
I started by ink blending a card panel I had die cut out of some white cardstock. I used stencils by Lawn Fawn and Distress oxides. After ink blending I splattered the panel with a little water to get the oxides to react. Then it was time for the little monkey, unfortunately I don't know the name or brand as I bought the die set at a jumble sale. I die cut all of the pieces out of coloured and kraft cardstock and assembled it. He is so cute, don't you think? I added some white gel pen marks here and there on the monkey to make him pop a little. I addhered the monkey and the branch he is hanging from to the panel, and addhered it all to a card base. Now it was time for a birthday greeting. I had intended to use a die cut a sentiment, but I couldn't find a "Happy Birthday" die that fit my card. So I decided on the number seven placed on a circle of vellum as the card was created for a cute little monkey who turned seven this spring.

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
